  • Have you had a cold call from a company wanting to visit you recently?
  • Have you been offered a one –off deal that is only available if you sign up at the visit?
  • Does the offer seem too good to be true?

If you wish to purchase a product or service, always make sure you get three quotes from companies that you have selected yourself. Never feel pressured into signing anything until you have had a chance to consider it and get advice from family and friends if necessary. If you have agreed to an appointment you have the right to cancel it.

If you have any concerns about a cold caller please call either Trading Standards on 01473 264859 or Suffolk police on 101 or 999 in an emergency. Please make sure you let vulnerable family and friends know.

Help us keep our communities safe.
